Kat Moore

Hi, I’m Kat — a teacher, storyteller, and creative who has spent the last 15 years in joyful circles with three‑, four‑, and five‑year‑olds. I believe in art as a language, childhood as a sacred time, and learning as something we do with our whole hearts.

I’ve taught in independent schools across the country and now lead a Reggio Emilia–inspired preschool classroom in Southern California, where the ocean, light, and children’s wonder are daily collaborators. I document children’s questions, their curiosities, their ways of knowing — and I help educators see that magic too.

I’m a writer who grew up in a house filled with stories — the hum of my grandmother’s sewing machine, the rhythm of my grandfather’s dominoes, the language of gardens and lace. I’m a photographer who captures the beauty of messy, in‑between moments. And I’m a speaker who believes in sharing wisdom with vulnerability, research with heart, and strategies with soul.
